Wow! We have been overwhelmed by your generosity and your willingness to help those in need. You braved the cold June mornings, the rain and the wind and gave a hand up to some of the worlds most vulnerable. We couldn’t have done it without you.
This was the first year that we have run K’s for Katoke – thanks for being pioneers, for saying ‘yes i can’, and for getting behind such a wonderful cause. We set a goal to raise $50,000 in June and you responded, helping us to more than double our target and raise $111,933. But it wasn’t just about raising funds. With your help we have started hundreds of conversations across the country with people who have never heard about the Katoke Trust. Over 2/3 of our Ks for Katoke donations came from people who had never heard about the Katoke Trust. An incredible result!

We are so grateful for the love, generosity and kindness you have shown the people of Katoke. Thanks to you we’ll be able to provide the life changing gift of education to more children. We’ll also be able to provide health literacy and hygiene resources to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
We are already using funds raised to help protect our students and the community against coronavirus. Healthcare workers visited the school recently to educate staff and students about coronavirus. We have also been able to purchase masks for students and soap for local communities. We will continue to work with local community leaders to ensure your donations reach those who need it the most.
Katoke is a charity run by a group of passionate volunteers, which means you can guarantee that every dollar that you donate is going directly towards those who need it the most.
