Fundraising

There are a number of ways you fundraise for Katoke. Your generosity will make a real difference to the whole Katoke community!

1. Become a Sponsor
If you’d like to regularly consider sponsoring a student at Katoke Lweru Secondary School, head to our Sponsorships page

2. Join an Event
Join one of our fundraising events, or organise your own private event in support of Katoke. The Katoke Communications and Fundraising Committee can assist you with any material or information you may need. Contact: events@katoke.com.au

3. Workplace Giving
Payroll or workplace giving is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to give tax deductible donation. An easy to set-up and administer workplace giving program is delivered through your company payroll system. Your company’s payroll team is responsible for contacting and providing the donations directly to Katoke. Rather than submitting tax deductible donations with your tax return, your nominated donation amount is deducted from your salary, before deducting your tax. There are a number of organisations who can assist you to set up your workplace giving program including, the Australian Charities Fund, the Australian Tax Office,  and Good2Give.

Matching Gift Programs – Companies can enhance their workplace giving program by electing to implement a matching gift program. This is an incentive for staff to donate through a company workplace giving program, and help raise more funds for Katoke.

4. Donate in Lieu
Celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday or wedding by asking your guests to donate to Katoke in lieu of a personal gift. For information or materials contact: events@katoke.com.au
